In a major push to boost tourism and reach its 2025 goal of 17.3 million overnight visitors, the city of Da Nang has launched an expansive year-end tourism stimulus campaign titled “New Da Nang – New Experiences.” The campaign, announced by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, runs through October 31 and features a dynamic mix of promotions, events, and travel incentives designed to attract both domestic and international tourists.
Five Key Tourism Programs Unveiled
At the heart of the campaign are five core programs focusing on:
- Preferential policies for tourists
- Special “Experience Passports”
- Exciting cultural events and festivals
- Strategies to attract foreign visitors
- Incentives for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) and wedding tourism
Free Museum Entry and Cultural Access
To celebrate Vietnam’s National Day, several museums—including the Cham Sculpture Museum, Sa Huynh Culture Museum, Fine Arts Museum, and others in Da Nang and Hoi An—will offer free admission. This aims to make cultural heritage more accessible and increase domestic engagement with local history and art.

“Experience Passports” and Tourist Rewards
Tourists can now pick up one of three themed “Da Nang Experience Passports”:
- Da Nang Food Tour
- Da Nang Heritage Tour
- Da Nang Green Tour

Each passport is available in both print and digital formats, with 30,000 copies of each being distributed. They include discount vouchers at various attractions, and tourists who collect stamps from multiple stops can win special prizes.
Steep Discounts at Hotels and Attractions
Visitors to Da Nang can enjoy up to 50% off on sightseeing tickets, hotel stays, dining, and entertainment. Participating venues include New Orient Hotel, Fusion Resort & Villas, Wink Hotel, Dong Giang Heaven Gate, and others. Major attractions such as Sun World Ba Na Hills, Hoi An Memories, and Son Tra Marina are also offering new entertainment experiences and exclusive deals.
New and Unique Travel Products
The city is rolling out several innovative tourism experiences, such as:
- Industrial tours to the Truong Hai Chu Lai auto plant
- Craft beer tours at Sunkraft Brewery
- Health & wellness escapes to the Ngoc Linh ginseng farms
- Eco-explorations in the Po Mu ancient tree forest
Massive Voucher and Discount Giveaways
More than 20,000 free vouchers and discounts of 20% to 50% are being offered for a wide range of services, including Han River cruises, SM Green taxi rides, dining experiences, and entry to tourist attractions.
Focus on International Markets with “I Love Da Nang” Campaign
To further increase global appeal, Da Nang has launched a campaign aimed at reconnecting with international tourists who visited between 2020 and now. It specifically targets China, South Korea, Japan, ASEAN countries, and visitors arriving on newly launched international flights. The campaign is part of a broader strategy to position Da Nang as a key regional destination.
Widespread Industry Support
Over 300 corporations and 200 tourism-related businesses and tech providers are participating in the campaign, signaling strong public-private collaboration to rejuvenate Da Nang’s tourism industry heading into the final quarter of 2025.
