Departing Hanoi at 7:30 AM, we journey through the peaceful countryside and scenic backroads for about two hours to reach Duc village, where we stop for refreshments. From there, enjoy a 1.5-hour boat ride along the tranquil Yen River, surrounded by limestone mountains and lush landscapes.
Upon arrival, we hike for about an hour to visit the Thien Tru Pagoda (Heaven’s Kitchen) and the sacred Perfume Pagoda, nestled in a cave on the mountainside. On the return walk, we stop to explore Giai Oan Pagoda and Tuyet Son Pagoda.
Lunch will be served at a local food stall near Thien Tru Pagoda. After lunch, take the boat back to the dock and board the bus for our return to Hanoi, arriving around 6:00 PM.
The hike involves a moderate climb of around 1 hour through stone steps and mountain paths. For those who prefer not to hike, a cable car is available (extra fee applies).
Comfortable walking/hiking shoes
Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
Reusable water bottle
Modest clothing for temple visits (shoulders and knees covered)
